THE 5K WALK
The 5K Walk is a noncompetitive 5K (3.1 mile) fun run/walk for families with young children, the casual walker, and others who want to be involved in this great event.
Race Start: Sunday, May 1, 2011, 6:40 AM CDT
Finish Line: The finish line is located on Broadway between NW 6th Street and NW 5th Street (one block east of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum).
Traffic Control is provided for the entire 5K Walk Course.
All 5K Walk participants receive a goody bag, t-shirt, poster, and heartland hospitality both on and off the course (food, beverage and availability of medical care and massage to aid your recovery). 5K Walk finishers also receive a custom 5K Walk finisher’s medal.
